Streamlined URL Copying for Images: Enhance the ‘Add Image’ Window and Assets Section
Alex Fikany
Add a link or button to easily copy an image URL in both the Assets Image tab and the image selection screen within the web editor interface.
Current Workflow:
To obtain the URL of an image not already displayed in the web editor, users must:
1. Click the breakout menu for the image.
2. Click on “Edit Image.”
3. Wait for the image to load.
4. Right-click to copy the image link.
5. If needing to copy the link to another image, repeat the process, including the extra steps of closing the window and waiting for the previous screen to load.
This multi-step process, excluding the initial menu navigation, can be significantly streamlined to a one step process with a simple link to copy the image URL. (Same as the link to copy a funnel page URL in the funnel builder.)
Proposed Solution:
Integrate a simple link or button for directly copying the image URL, reducing the process to a single step. This enhancement will greatly improve efficiency and user experience.

Hey Alex Fikany Thank you for your feedback and adding this request. That's a great suggestion. We'll be sure to keep this open for others to vote on and for our dev team for review.
There is a simpler way to do this than your 5 steps. Once you open the image editing menu, you can highlight and copy the image link there. If this is easy enough for you, please let me know if I can close this request, or if you would still like a different way to do this.

David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst). Hey there I think we are saying the same thing I only added the steps of the two clicks required to get through to the image editing screen (one if in assets) and load times since it usually takes a couple seconds to load on my 1gb download speed internet going through to my 2023 Apple Silicon (M3 Max) MacBook Pro (just so you know it's not an issue with my device 😊).
Being able to copy the link directly within the image selection menus would very much help me save time. Hopefully this gets upvoted.
Thanks!

Alex Fikany: Thanks for your response and clarification. I see what you are saying now.
Another way you could do this to speed things up, is go to your images in "Workspace Settings" > "My Assets" and right click, Save Image As. I hope this is a better solution for you =)

Hey David! That could work, but the issue is it defaults to a medium-sized version of the image. You’d have to either manually edit the word “medium” out of the link or be stuck with the smaller version, adding extra steps.
For streamline image management, users could:
1. Keep the assets window open in a separate tab for faster access to your image links, eliminating the need to reload the page each time you add an image.
2. Quickly copy and paste links into a spreadsheet, document, or notes for better organization.
3. If you’re adding multiple images to your funnel, click to add one, then copy the next image link to minimize steps.
4. For images used multiple times on a page, you can easily copy the link once and paste it into other image fields, saving a few clicks, even if it’s just a minor time saver.

Hey David! I was curious if we could delete this and I could re-post it. I feel like now that we've waded through some of your thoughtful solutions as not completely addressing the problem I could make it more compelling.
