It would be nice to be able to trigger a Store Upsell from any purchase in a specific category in the store, rather than product by product.

Think of the Startup Drug T-Shirt Shop that CF delivers. There are more than 300 T-Shirts in that store, and if someone buys any one of them, you might want to upsell them to a T-Shift of the Month Club if they are not already members.

That would require 300+ individual Store Upsell configurations or adding 300+ products to the single filter trigger. Very painful.

The easier option to configure would be any product in a category, and a NOT filter on either a tag, or on owning the T-Shirt of the Month Product. Either approach would be acceptable
