On index pages / table has adjustments to the columns save when changing pages

After a user has adjusted to columns to a table like contacts, funnels ect. If they they go and view other pages in the table ex: page 2. Have the modifications to the table still display once the new page loads.

Maintain displayed columns in data pagination

If we want to see certain data in lists (in orders or contacts) we can toggle which data is visible and a column for that data appears. When you go to the next page the displayed columns reset to the default and you have to reselect what you want to see. Maintaining view preferences across paginations would be ideal.
How many people have asked for more than 20 items displayed at a time?
The general principle here - either make the export feature very usable, or make the data easy to copy/paste to our own spreadsheets.
