multiple countdown events per funnel

Jason Buckner
It would be great now that we have countdown events, to then be able to assign multiple countdown events per funnel. Example when we run a webinar, countdown to the webinar, then when we run the replay for x amount of days after, countdown to that.

Hey Jason Buckner Thank you for your feedback and adding this request. While we are always open to how we can improve our software, I'm having trouble seeing how your example needs 2 countdown timers. Your example can be done with 2 separate countdown events. You set one for the webinar, then afterwards, you would create a new countdown event for the replays and attach that to the replays page, set to "register visitor on pageview".
We're keeping an open mind, so if you or someone else could explain a good case in which the situation needs a 2nd countdown timer on the same page, that would help our team to focus their time and resources on developing it.
Thanks for your understanding! We'll leave this request open to see how much traction and demand it gets, and also looking forward to your response. Thank you!

David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst) I also think this is a much needed feature.
In the example of the webinar live + replay: you would need a countdown for the live webinar and a countdown for when the replay shuts down, and that would be the deadline for purchasing.
Triggering the 2nd event with a “register visitor on pageview” is not a good way to do it, because not every contact who registered for the webinar will click the emails with the links to the replay, and so most of them won’t visit the page and won’t register for the 2nd event. And it’s important to have everyone who originally registered for the webinar to also be registered for the 2nd event, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to embed countdown timers (related to the 2nd event) in the emails that they receive (even if they don’t click them), and so they wouldn’t be able to see the countdown.
More generally, it would be great to be able to register contacts for events also from an action inside workflows, not just from “page views” or “page opt-ins”. In this way we’d have much more freedom in implementing complex and behavioral evergreen funnels with deadlines that can vary depending on how the contact behaves (when they click, what they click, what they already purchased, etc.).
DeadlineFunnel has this capability (triggering a deadline event on command, like a tag applied or a webhook received, not just when visiting a page or upon opt-in), and the fact that this is missing from ClickFunnels events is one of the two main reasons why I still have to to use DeadlineFunnel instead of CF 2.0 events. (I’ll create a different post about the second reason).

David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst) Can you do that? Note Im not asking for 2 on the same page I am asking for 2 in the same funnel. What you have suggested here is great to have to triggered separately from viewing the page, however In this particular case it must be triggered relatively from the first event, the webinar runs on a thursday for example then 48 hours after the webinar the replay expires... (not after the page has been viewed) All that being said Support have told me on a few occasions that we can only have 1 countdown event per funnel? So while i havent tested it yet, I dont think even your suggestion is feasible?
