Mobile Course Menu Covering Up X Button

David Lamoureux
Hey guys! in courses, if the Course Sidebar element is set to 100%, when you open the menu on mobile, it covers up the X button, so there's no way to close the menu without clicking a page link.
2 Options I can think of to fix this:
1: Create a "Mobile width" option on the Course Sidebar element
2: Somehow have the position of the X button to be the foremost element over the menu.
Here's a video to show what's going on - https://share.voomly.com/v/XqRAXt3Dlknez8vSdkKWpsIbmgZESSCJiccHGBgtVI7sIyEze
Thanks for considering this improvement! It would help the quality of life for mobile course navigation.

Fix Navigation Menu Overlay for Mobile

Liane Chase
When you have a site with a hamburger menu on mobile devices, the menu overlay takes up the full screen and often the site visitor doesn't see the X in the top right hand corner (even a large X) to close the menu so they can get to the content they clicked on. Per my CRO analysis in HotJar, this is creating friction for visitors. Would it be possible to have a link that reads something like “Close Menu” underneath the list of menu items so the visitor can click this to close the overlay instead of having to look to the top right corner for the X to close it?

The dropdown menu on mobile is a joke. It's unbelievable how something this important was this poorly built and hasn't been fixed or improved in years.

Hey Liane Chase Thank you for your feedback and adding this request. That's a great suggestion! We'll be sure to keep this open for others to vote on and for our dev team for review.
In the meantime, because this may require a bit of custom code finesse, I would recommend you ask that question in our Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ClickFunnels/

David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst) - Hi David, further to this request, if it does get considered it would be even better to have the overlay close once a visitor clicks on one of the nav links so they don't need to take another step to close the overlay before seeing the content they're looking for. I'm getting a LOT of dead link flags on this in my session recordings
