Global taxes is my main concern. The current Payments.ai and clickfunnels setup has such limiting tax features that as someone outside the USA, I'm looking at building my own payment integration from scratch just so I can get around the tax hurdle. But it'll likely mean I can't achieve upsells and order bumps without a TON of extra work and frustration. I was hoping these would be made easy with Clickfunnels, but since their team didn't think taxes were important to deal with, it'll be weeks more before I'm able to launch a funnel :(. Very disappointed in this oversight.

We are happy to announce a Stipe integration is being worked on.
If your interested you can sign up to join the beta when that starts by going into apps & adding the Strip App.

What's the status on this feature request? How long will it take before Clickfunnels will realize that being forced to use Payments AI is hurting our businesses?

Florin Fat
Connecting clickfunnels with Payment AI does not work, although I followed all the steps in the description. I think you should consider other ways(old ways, maybe) to set up payments. From my Point of View Payment AI is a very frustrating platform. I am very disappointed and I am thinking about other solutions, other platforms, because I don't have time to contact them every day for all kinds of things. Thanks

We've got backing from Microsoft through the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, which provides $25k of fee-free processing through Stripe. It makes no financial sense to use Payments.ai at all.

I saw a follow up comment by Russell in a seperate funnel after this comment and I completely understand why Payments.ai exists now.
The only issue is we still cant seem to get verified by the third party vendor...

Hey Richard Matthews: I'm sorry to hear that. By "3rd party vender", do you mean PAI? If so, they can help you get verified if you reach out to their support team at support@payments.ai. I hope this helps

Richard Matthews
David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst) Yeah, PAI have said there is actually an issue on their end at the moment so we are unable to use their routing and system. Currently payments are being accepted and processed for us and just seem to be going through the system without additional issues. Just means we can only accept USD and AUD at the moment.

Please go back to the old ways where we are able to choose our own Payment Gateway and not forced to use Payments AI. All my hard work to negotiate a lower rate with Stripe goes out the window when I have to pay an additional 1% to use it on CF 2.0. Thank you

Direct Stripe Integration

We use Stripe and have been for years. With Payment.ai if we add stripe it takes an extra 1% of our revenue. A direct Stripe integration would save us a lot of money.

Add sole integration with Stripe payment gateway without the need to go through Payments AI

Please don't force customers to use payments AI or charge them an additional 1% on fees if we use Stripe. Some customers have negotiated lower fees with Stripe and this does not make financial sense in the long term.
