I need to allow my purchasers to give me special instructions about the product bought!

Christopher Bailey
Did you remove the custom fields? All of my custom field data has now disappeared!

Jacob Prig: I'm pretty sure this feature was removed. Hopefully someone will come in here and give us an update.

In CF 1.0 I was able to make a simple, submittable form (tpscincy.com). Can this be added to CF 2.0?

Jason Buckner
Thanks thats fab, although now we need to be able to use those as merge tags in emails? Also when we send a http post it would be great to utilise the custom fields there as well

Custom form inputs will now show up inside the contact profile.
They can be seen in the overview tab
ex:

Dennis Gerolymatos
Hugh (Product Support Manager): The attached image doesn't make sense at all to me. Is it only me?!

James Curran
Hugh (Product Support Manager): I see it in my contact profile. Yes!

Christian Marriott
Dennis Gerolymatos: Thank goodness.. I thought I was missing something here .. thank you for that sanity check :)

Christopher Bailey
Hugh (Product Support Manager): THANK YOU!!!!

Hugh (Product Support Manager): THANK YOU!

Hugh (Product Support Manager): This was not what I was expecting. A normal implementation of this is to create a set of custom fields that can be edited for each contact manually, through an API or form. This deployment is so restricting. We can only create a new custom field through adding an input field, we can only update the field from the user adding data in the form ..I am sorry, this seems like a rushed deployment that fixes a very small part of the problem. It is great that we have something that prevents custom field inputs being discarded.. but this needs so much more ...

Jacob Prig
Hugh (Product Support Manager): where in the overview tab. i'm not seeing any custom fields in there

Jacob Prig
Christian Marriott: can you help me find where in my customer's profile i can find this please?

A few months back, I saw ClickFunnels post a video on Instagram where one of your developers said something along the lines of: "It's kind of a big flex that we have such a small team of developers and yet we are making so much progress, so quickly with this platform". I don't know if you ended up deleting that video... but I think about that small clip at least once every single day when I discover yet another massive bug / problem / or missing feature with this platform. I've been a loyal ClickFunnels user since 2018, have spent more than 5 figures on your products/services since then, and I think you guys should be ashamed of yourselves for how poor this 2.0 launch has been.
How is it possible that one of the big new features that you announced with 2.0 was the ability to build a website, but I can't create a simple 'Contact Us' page on my website where people can input their full name, email address, and write a message that all gets sent to my company's email inbox? Did NO ONE in your team of 500 developers think this might be something that almost every single person with a website would need? Since ClickFunnels 2.0 was launched, every single person that has been paying you an absurd amount of money for this platform has essentially been paying to do all the thinking for you. We are the ones who constantly warn you of bugs that should never happen. We are the ones that remind you to add features that should have been there from the beginning. And then you guys take months and months to make simple changes to the platform. Do better.

Seems like this should have been fixed before CF2 launch. I keep finding these bugs and it makes me think I should switch to a software that actually works. Real pain in the ass.
Just looked back at earlier comments... looks like they have been discussing this since March 2022 and it's still not fixed.
