Okay, I just followed the instructions that was posted in the article below... However, the question that remains now is to make the the actual domain go to the root domain and not to the theme for the site???
For example, I selected www.thegreatlyunderstandthebiblechallenge.com as the domain to be used for the funnel; and then I selected www.thegreatlyunderstandthebiblechallenge.com/main for the funnel path, which is what I am assuming you all are calling the root domain... While the funnel path domain does go to the funnel, the main domain is still going to the site page instead of the funnel...
So, how can I get the main domain (www.thegreatlyunderstandthebiblechallenge.com to go to the funnel instead???

I don't really think this should be marked as complete... You are just showing an "old" workaround, rather than fixing the issue so that it works in 2.0 just like it always did and does work in Classic.

Scott Stellmon: Article update hasn't been published, sorry closed to soon it appears. Updated one will post soon. You just need to goto funnel => Settings => Remove the path from the funnel and put
/
=> Funnel on rootScott Stellmon
Todd Dickerson: Thank you... I know you are killing yourself to keep updating things, this is the main issue I have had which caused me to cancel 2.0 after 9 months, I have been a loyal CF Classic user for 7 years, I am excited to move to 2.0, thanks for taking the time to respond... I really do appreciate this.

Scott Stellmon: Thanks Scott! Yeah this one seems simple but ran into some core routing issues that required big changes to properly support going forward. I expect we'll have more options around this soon as well now that the main stuff is updated!

One important note here is this works even better then in CF Classic, you're able to host your funnel on the root domain without a redirect. If you set it at the top of the Funnel it will act as a redirect, but you can set the first step or anywhere else in the funnel as the root and it will remain on that root path for the page. Similar to your Site home page.

This has been fixed. Here's a video I created on how to fix it. https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.loom.com%2Fshare%2Fcf7cfb90d8ca4ec5a4aa14c5d8deb66a%3Fsid%3Df1487794-d3d3-4d75-b7f3-62109f97fa26%26fbclid%3DIwAR1cTFcCN8kuYTvlRYayXYDujbtr21h7dxrI3phAjS7JlK6qGrT2tSpPDDg&h=AT3xgyxonWrIiIP1PlGVAJ76HCbzTj-T3spNbRVo6Jhm_UO8vvOYqrgXAWJa6ayjbuY5tmoeM-8zB7MmkEfA55TSW8sgEP_79wOK68DfJHuH7Lk6H4j9LQF6egKfGsm9j-E

Just found out we can’t do this after spending a lot of time reorienting my hub site….why wouldn’t we be able to use a domain we bought as a landing page? I thought that was a basic reason to use CF?

It is almost a year since we noticed this feature is missing. We rely on Clickfunnels Classic redirects to Clickfunnels 2, which is killing my analytics. In addition, our free year of Clickfunnels Classic is ending, and I need booth platforms to keep my business running until this gets fixed. I will be charged twice for Clickfunels Classic and Clickfunnels 2?

How does this take a full year to get done?
