Add an unsubscribe button to Course enrollment/customer receipt emails so the emails don’t go to spam/junk folders.

Hello Pat Harris! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you clarify if you want the unsubscribe button to be included in all types of emails or just in the course enrollment and customer receipt emails?
- Are there any specific legal or compliance requirements we should be aware of when implementing the unsubscribe feature?
- Do you have any preferences for how the unsubscribe process should work after a user clicks the button?

Hugh (Product Support Manager) Hey Hugh, my customer email and course enrollment emails have been landing in the spam/junk folder. One thing I saw a lot of articles say is that if you have the unsubscribe option in the email, they are less likely to go to the junk folder. I ordered my product and noticed the course enrollment and customer receipt emails don’t have a unsubscribe option, so maybe that is why they’re going to some customers junk folder. As far as the design it could be something simple like the attached screenshot I used from pottery barns unsubscribe page. Hope that helps!

Hey Pat Harris: Thank you for your feedback and adding this request. That's a great suggestion! We'll be sure to keep this open for our dev team for review.
However if I may, I get enrollment and order confirmation emails to my primary inbox frequently from myself and other CF 2.0 users. I don't think it's as much about the Unsubscribe link being there as it is about warming up the email sender. If you have any questions about this or need any help with it, please reach out to our support team and they would be happy to help assist you with it.

David Lamoureux (Product Support Analyst) Thanks! I have reached out to support and they gave me the article on how to send an email and one of the things it included was make sure to have the unsubscribe button. Other than that not sure why on my Yahoo mail account they go to inbox, but Gmail account they go to my primary! It’s still in test mode before launch but hopefully as my site and email get established they will go to the primary inbox.
