In the meantime, there is a workaround you can do here with Countdown events and sync the timer to the event.

Create a Countdown event
Attach the event to the funnel page
Set the registration to "register on pageview"
Set the timer to sync with the Countdown event.

It is frustrating when the countdown timer only covers the States for Time Zones. Please can this include the UK. If the Calendar Event feature was working properly this wouldn't be so much of an issue! There is no point having a countdown timer element if it cannot be used :(
