Alissa Burger: Thanks for your reply. Are you saying you would like the ability to edit the phone number and email on an invoice? What other data (if any) would you like to be able to edit? Adding an "edit" option like I've shown in my image below?

David Lamoureux Thanks David. I want to be able to display the customer Phone and Email address on ALL invoices. Because we are unable to do this via the Sales Order Confirmation as the Merge Tags for Email Address & Phone are not connected (don't challenge me on that one, because I've had multiple support tickets logged to help resolve that issue, all had the same answer it can't be done). It seems odd to me that in a Digital world that a customers email and phone number can't be displayed in the body of an invoice or with the sales order confirmation. Some customers are required to use a copy of the invoice for proof of payment. An email address is one common piece of metadata collected with all online transactions why can't an invoice template be edited to ensure that business's can display the required information whether that be on the invoice template or the sales order confirmation. WooCommerce, Shopify all can all do this!

In answer to your question of whether I expect an edit button where you have placed your red arrow. No I don't want to manually editing all invoices. I should be able to customise the masterInvoice template or the Sales Order Confirmation (system email) to display this generic information.

Alissa Burger: Thank you for your detailed response and you patience with this. We are currently working to improve our system emails and in conversation about the invoice wording. I recognize the invoice look and feel is an important topic.

We can leave this request open for voters, but hopefully the integration won't be needed.
